Hi blog readers! Cheri and Carolyn have a great question and answer for you. Can wearing a corset weaken my core muscles? That’s a scary question with a big answer! On it’s own, NO a corset will not weaken your muscles! However, if you do not strengthen and exercise your core muscles (whether you are waist training or not!) of course your muscles will become weakened. But that is of course true for anyone that doesn’t engage and work their corset muscles.
