Do you have a question about steel boned corsets, waist training or corseting? The answer is probably somewhere in our Corset Q & A series.
Can Wearing a Corset Help With Weight Loss?
So the quick answer for this question, is both yes and no. No, corsets and waist cinchers are not magic garments that will melt the unwanted fat off of your body, but corsets will provide that external pressure (and to a lesser degree latex waist cinchers), to make your stomach fill that it is full quicker. Many customers have mentioned that wearing a corset or shapewear, especially during meals have stopped them from overeating. The corset works like an external LAP band and there just isn’t enough room to eat that entire burrito, plate of pasta, pizza, <fill in the blank>. If you’ve had experience with the effects of how wearing a corset can reduce your appetite we’d love to hear about it in the comments below!
