Corset Q & A Episode 14: How can I return or exchange an item from Orchard Corset?

 

In our Corset Q & A series we’ll be giving you quick answers to some of the most common questions we get regarding steel boned corsets, waist training and corseting here at Orchard Corset.

For Episode 14 of our Corset Q & A, Cheri headed to our shipping department to chat with Caylyn. Today Cheri is asking the question! We’re constantly working to improve the shopping experience for our customers and we know that occasionally people need to return or exchange an item, so we want the process to be as painless as possible. As Caylyn explains in the video, our process has changed a bit from the days when we used to print the exchange form on the back of your invoice.

The process is done totally online now, so head over to our Online Return & Exchange Center, enter your Order Number and Email, then just follow all the prompts for the item you would like to return or exchange. When you’ve completed the process, you’ve got a few options for returning your item to us with the information that we need.

  • If you have a printer, just print the return/exchange form after you’ve completed the process and include it with the item(s) that you’re returning to us
  • If you don’t have a printer write your Exchange ID on the back of your invoice and include that with the item(s)
  • If you don’t have a printer OR your invoice, write your Order # and your Exchange ID on a piece of paper and include it with your item(s)

Please, please, Caylyn is begging you, DON’T send her an item with no order # or exchange ID included….it just makes her really, REALLY sad, and when she cries it sometimes shorts out her keyboard and then our IT department will put her in a time out. So if you want to keep Caylyn out of time out, at the very least, write her a nice note on a post it with your Order # and Exchange ID and include it with your return. 😉

One last suggestion from Cheri, if you’re exchanging because of a style or sizing problem, get in touch with one of our sizing experts prior to your exchange to make sure you get the right size and style for your body!

    How come I have to pay the shipping to you for the exchange item ? By the way it cost half the price of a new corset which is why I didn’t send it back and I wouldn’t order a new one again .

      Hi Grace, sorry that your first corset didn’t work out for you, and we would LOVE to have some control over the cost of shipping, especially international, as we know that it can get very expensive. To your question about why we don’t pay for return shipping, well, we are already paying to ship it to you twice, if it is an exchange, (we do actually pay for the ‘free’ shipping that we offer), so if we also added return shipping to the list, we wouldn’t be able to keep our corset prices as low as they are. If you do decide to send it back be sure to send your measurements to one of our sizing experts so they can make sure you get a style and size that will work for you. http://www.orchardcorset.com/corset-sizing/
