New at OC! The CS-411 in MESH!

OC New Product Video Review: CS-411

We are MAD for MESH!

Hello OC Blog Readers! The much anticipated MESH CS-411 is finally here! This amazing corset offers the same overall design as our classic 411,  but with some variation in panels and boning.

This corset is 10.5 inches long at the front and back and 8.5″ long at the side-and the waist tape sits dead center in the corset. The corset is 100% cotton, except for the reinforced nylon waist tape.  The bottom edge is +12 inches from the waist and the top edge is +9 inches…but due to the multiple panels the fit and feel is like our traditional +9-10 and +5 in our other 411 styles with far fewer panels.  Here is the bone breakdown:

Sizes 16-18: 16 steel bonescheri in 411 mesh

Sizes 20-22: 18 steel bones

Size 24-26: 20 steel bones

Size 28: 24 steel bones

Sizes 30-32: 26 steel bones

Size 38-40: 30 steel bones

This corset is so comfortable and its slimmer profile make it easy to stealth corset under your clothes. For an even stealthier look, you can (carefully) remove the modesty and tags from the back of the corset. Just be sure you have the right size and style before making any modifications to your corset 🙂

We have the mesh 411 available in black, red with black trim and beige (with beige laces!). We carry sizes 18-40.

I have been with Orchard Corset since June of 2012 and what a journey it has been! I've gone from complete newbie to Marketing Director to Chief Operations Officer and I've learned more about corsets, corseting, shapewear, social media and myself than I would have ever thought possible. I have really enjoyed the journey and we at Orchard Corset are dedicated to providing a wealth of information for new and seasoned corseters alike.

I’m looking for a waist training corset that I can wear while sleeping. Would mesh be a good option? Would it be durable enough for waist training? Thanks!

    Hi Cheri

I bought the 411 mesh in a 24 at the recommendation of someone there (I was specifically looking for mesh). The problem is I just don’t have the hip for it!

I have now given up on keeping it even at the back. The best I can do atm is a gap of 7.5 cm at the top and at the waist and 3.5 cm at the bottom.

    My measurements are:
    U/B 83 cm
    Waist 83 cm
    Upper hip 90 cm
    Rise 11 cm

Would you please recommend an alternative to the 411 that would fit me better?

    Thanks,
    Beth

Hi I want a mesh corset. It will be my third corset I’ve bought from your company. My first two corsets are size 36, one is a 425 brocade and the other is a 411 satin. They were the perfect size when I received them and are seasoning very nicely. I received the first one one week ago and the second one five days ago. Anyway my question is that I ordered the mesh 426 in the same size, a 36 and it closed right away so I’m returning and bought a size 34. I just received the size 34 today and it’s not as big yet the top of the lacing in the back is able to close all the way so this is still obviously too big for a new corset. Does the mesh material stretch more? I have measured my waist and it has gotten smaller from a 47 to a 43. I’d really like to get the right size this time, what would you suggest?

Hi, I am looking to purchase a corset for waist training for the first time. I was looking at the 345 but then saw this mesh 411 and am now thinking it would be perfect for summer and wearing underneath clothing. My sizing is: Underbust-39″, Waist-39″ and Upper Hip-46″. Would the mesh 411 be a good choice? Also, would the 345 be a good non-mesh option? BTW, my torso measurement (sitting) is right around 10″, I’m not sure that would be quite long enough for the 426 short. Also, one of my concerns is back fat, not sure if that changes the suggestions for what to purchase.

Thank you so much and I am so excited to have discovered Orchard Corsets!

      Hi Stephanie,

I think the 411 in a 32 or 34 (depending on how firm vs squishy you are). I actually think the 426 short would be a good option (maybe even with hip ties as you have a full hip. The 426 short also has a high back similar to the 426 and 345.

      • Stephanie

        Cheri,

Wow, that was such a quick response that I missed it! I guess I am not very squishy as I could only tighten the measuring tape about an inch and a half smaller…so I guess I should get the 34 in the mesh 411?

I was looking at the 426 short but I’m not sure I want that extreme of a silhouette…would the 305 be a good option?

Hello…I am so torn between a CS-411 and a CS-301. I have a CS 411 corset and it fits great. I don’t know whether to take a 411 or a 301 of this design. My waist measurement is 28″ my underbust is 33 and my upper hip is 35. Please help.

    • Cheri Dudek

Are debating between the mesh 201 (not 301) and 411? If you know and love the 411-it should fit just as well in the mesh. The 201 is shorter at the sides and has a much more contoured appearance. The fit is similar.

I plan to order my first corset this week! For my shape, what size non mesh 411 (or better alternative) do you recommend for my shape for waist training? I might get the mesh next…

I’m 5’7″ with under bust 30″, waist 29″, high hip 37″ and full hip 40″. Sitting torso is about 8.5″. Pretty squishy waist.

    Thanks so much.

Hello, I’ve never worn a corset before, and I have two questions:

    1) I’m 5’4″, almost 5’5″, and I have a high hip so my torso is a bit short. I’m buying a corset to help improve my posture and I’ve read that longer corsets do a better job of it, but I’m worried that a longer corset won’t fit. Would the CS-201 or CS-411 in mesh work better for my body type?

    2) As I said, I’d like to buy a corset to improve my posture, and I’m not interested in waist training. Do corsets stretch out over time? Will I be able to wear one size as time goes on, or will that size gradually become less and less supportive?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Kate

Hi Cheri. It took three tries but my first good fitting corset was a 426 in a size 38. I am very fluffy. Anyway, I would like to try the mesh 411 in order to conceal it under clothing. I think you mentioned somewhere that you have to size down with the mesh corsets. My measurements are 44/49/55. Would I need to go to a 36? I have a 2 inch gap with my current 38 in satin.

    • Amy Lewis

Hi Kate! Yes, we do suggest that everyone size down in the mesh. So go with a 36. They have a lot more stretch than the other fabrics and also seem to season a little faster.

Hi! Im so new here and find everything about corsets so exciting… first of all I have to ask if you ship international? im from Mexico and i’d like to start wearing a nice corset to correct my posture since im sitting all day at work, also i’d love to help my body to have an hourglass shape, the second question will be if this CS 411 will be a good idea to start with? or is it better the CS 201?
My measurements are underbust 33 wais t32 and upperhip 37, i must say my rib cage is a little wide but the real fluff is around the belly button

Thank so much for all this information it has been so helpful!

    Hi Cheri,

I’m going to purchase my first corset soon and I was looking at the CS 411 in either the mesh or the cotton. My measurements are 31″ waist, 34″ underbust and 37″ upper hip. I do a lot of strength training, so I’m not very squishy. I was thinking that to start I would need a size 27.

Do you think the CS 411 is a good choice for me, or is there another that you would recommend?

  • Ytzayana

Also, as much as I want to order this ( and i probably will anyways) what would be stealthier under clothes? A 201 or 411 in mesh? Thanks!!!!

    • Cheri Dudek

      Hi Ytzayana-

It will depend on what you’re wearing, but I think the 411 would be easier to hide under your clothes due to the straight edge along the bottom of the corset. The 201 comes down to a point in the front and sometimes can have a bit of an outward flair.

  • Ytzayana

I am so excited for this!!!

I really hope I can hide this under my clothes since my cotton 411 is pretty hard to hide! lol
(I just want to wear a wiggle dress with a corset! :D)

We love to hear from you!
