Newest Addition to the OC Line-Up: CS-345 Steel Boned Corset
A Beautiful and Functional Blend of the CS-426 and CS-411
Superior Curves for Most AnyBody
Hello OC Blog Readers! I am super excited to introduce you to our fabulous new corset, the CS-345. This corset has the contoured underbust and front center length of the 426, with a cut out for the hips that begins at the hip flexor to allow those with average torso lengths to comfortably wear and sit corseted.
It also has a narrower upper edge circumference (similar to the 411), but has a higher back to help avoid dreaded back bulge! The CS-345 measures 13″ front center and only 10″ on the side. The curve at the waist is the same as it is on the 426 and the 411-but with the hip cut out and smaller underbust you don’t need to have an extreme curve on your own. We have had several folks here from the slim-no natural curve to the super curvy try this corset and it has fit everyone marvelously! The top edge when fully closed will measure about 6″ more than the waist, and the bottom edge 9-10 inches more.
The corset has 16 single steel bones spread throughout the corset. This provides a more even pressure distribution than our double boned corsets. I like to use the analogy (albeit an extreme exaggeration) of lying on a bed of nails…you never see anyone lay on six nails! A bunch of nails closer together is much better than a dozen nails spread out-even distribution of pressure.
We think the new CS-345 will work for many different body types and will quickly become a fan favorite! The Vintage Gold Newsprint will only be available as a limited edition. The other fabrics and colors will not include the snaps and will be suitable for daily waist training over or under clothing.

CS-345 TOTALLY ROCKS THE WARDROBE! 06/11/14 by Stephany C.
I just returned from a trip to find my new limited print CS-345 begging me to start conditioning YIPPIE! Now, I own every corset style OC makes and love each style for different uses. The CS-426 is fantastic for training and creating a long, lean elegant look over the hips, the CS-411 is versatile for travelling or required comfort over unusual outfits. The Waspie is a super every day alternative to a belt. But I have to say, in just one day the CS-345 corset became my fast favourite. This is OC corset #12 for me, but it’s #1 in my book. It’s like all the others rolled into one incredible design. Comfort for everyday use, fabulous fit, waist training, and a unique print that can be worn dressed up with a skirt/blouse or jeans and a t-shirt. I’m long bodied and curvy in the hips (38-31-41), so up to now the CS-426 was my favourite and I could even wear it comfortably on my motorcycle. But the 345 rounds over my hips dipping in the front perfectly and is long enough that I don’t have a breakfast sausage roll under bust or in the belly. It’s also comfortable for just about any activity, driving or riding a bike. I’m sure this will become the best seller and I will surely buy more colours as they come available. Thank you OC for making off the rack corsets that totally ROCK every piece in my wardrobe!

Hi, I have to tell you guys how much I’m loving my very first corset! I ordered my CS-345 on Dec 28th and I received it on Dec 29th! Talk about excellent shipping! Anyways I injured my lower back about 6 years ago and I had been going to a chiropractor for a few months. I would feel better right after my visits but would always end up having that same pain a few days later. I decided to do my research on corsets seeing that its really good for keeping my back aligned and it would also help me with my posture. I had one before but it was not steel boned and it didn’t really do much for me, so I started looking for very well made corsets that won’t send me bankrupt and I stumbled upon Orchard Corsets, Thank You God!!! I’ve been wearing my corset as directed, this will be my second week wearing it and its almost completely seasoned, its starting to pit me perfectly and has shaped to fit my curves. its very well made and very comfortable. I’ve already seen results not just in the shape of my waist but also I don’t have as much back pain while wearing my corset and even when I’m not. I’m so so so glad I found Orchard Corset and I will definitely be repurchasing.

That’s so wonderful Andrene! Corsets saving people from pain and discomfort is absolutely my favorite thing to hear! Enjoy your corset!

Hello I just got my 345. I am new at this….I’m’m not shore of the top from the bottom. Could some tell me hiw to tell the top from the bottom.
Amy Lewis
For our corsets the hooks are always on your right and the pins will be on your left. Also there is a small knot in the laces (on the back) and that knot should be at the bottom of the corset. Be sure to let us know if you have any other questions!

Do you have any profile/side views of this corset? I watched Lucy’s review of it and she lamented it stuck out on the bottom for her, kind of away from her body. I don’t know if it’s just an issue she’s having with her particular measurements or if that’s how it’s built…
Cheri Dudek
Hi Mandie,
This corset has a very traditional corset shape and depending on your shape may spoon at the front. I am able to pull that in just by tightening the bottom edge of the corset. But it is different for everyone. It is one of our more popular corsets. All corsets are designed to give you an hourglass shape-not necessarily a flat stomach (which I think is often an unknown for new corset wearers). I hope that helps!

I just got my CS345. The sizing seems about right everywhere else but the bottom – front bottom especially. It sticks away from my body. It is also hard to fit in my pants. The sides bulge out very oddly. it is really hard to hide under my clothes. Is there something better I can exchange it for that I can wear better under my clothes?
Cheri Dudek
Hi Jei,
The mesh 411 or 201 are great for stealth corseting!

On a size 22, what are the measurements around the top and bottom edges? I ordered a CS 301 before thinking that the higher hips would work for me, but it was too tight at the hips and underbust without doing much of anything at all at my waist.
Cheri Dudek
The 301 is very short waisted, and in the 22 measures about 26″ at both the top and bottom (about a half an inch more on the bottom)

Hi Again! I just got my cs426 and I’m in the process of seasoning it. I haven’t laced it up as tight as I can make it yet. I’m not sure if once I do, if my “issue” will change. The cs426 gives me a great shape! The issue…I can not get it to look right under fitted clothes! It does something strange in the back to my lower half ( causing a square butt instead of a curvy round one) and although the silhouette from the front is incredible, from the sides not so much. I think its coming down too low on the sides and in the back, therefore compressing my butt and hips . Hope this makes some kind of sense. I want to add a shorter one and I’m crossed between the cs411 and the cs345. I’m a healthy 200 pound gal with natural hour glass shape but I have a tummy and don’t want to push out any back bulge. I understand the 345 has a higher back and longer front but I’m intrigued by how almost seamless the 411 looks under clothes. Please share your thoughts! Thank you!
Cheri Dudek
Hi Kourtney,
Modern clothing and corsets don’t always agree! I find dresses and skirts work best. It sounds like the 426 is on the long side for you…the 345 is a bit shorter in the back but still pretty long. The 411 does sometimes create an upper back bulge..but usually easing up on how tightly you cinch the top will help.
Cristina
Hi Cheri !
First thank you in advance for your time. I am looking to waist train and am still undecided on which corset style/ size would fit me best. I tried reading all the super informative articles you have but would like to get your opinion!
My measurements are UB 39 W 38 UH 46 I am also squishy and am trying to get something that will cover my stomach pouch and not squeeze out my bra fat lol
Thank you again!!!

Hi Cristina,
In the 345 I think a size 32. If you are interested in the 426 than probably a size 30.
Cristina
Hi ,
Yes sorry I thought you hadn’t received my comment. Thank you, I actually ordered one yesterday before the promotion was over I hope it fits! The chatting specialist said the 426 wouldn’t work for me and she recommended the 345 ina size 30. Hope its not too small!
LaSander
Hello,I am interested in purchasing a corset but I’m not sure where to begin, could you please help.
Cheri Dudek
LaSander,
Certainly! Why don’t you start here http://www.orchardcorset.com/corset-sizing/ .
Leah
I got my cs-345 3 days ago and I’m simply in love. Still in the process of seasoning but going great so far.
Cheri Dudek
Awesome! It’s a staff favorite for sure!
Traci
Ahhhh wish I would have seen this yesterday!! Yesterday I ordered the cotton 305. Hope I like it!! This one sounds likes it’s the best of both worlds between 426 & 411. I’m sure I’ll order this soon enough:-)
Cheri Dudek
Well you can never have too many corsets, Traci!

I just ordered mine. It took me 3 weeks to decide what I wanted to do about waist training. I had been using a latex cincher and that helps with sweating and working out to lose inches but not really shaping my waist. I’m glad I waited cause I got to order the black cs345. Can’t wait til it arrives. The blogs and videos helped me a lot and I have been spreading the positive news about corset training. Thanks guys.
Cheri Dudek
Thank you! It is a really comfortable corset! Excited you get to be one of the first 🙂
Melinda
What exactly is the underbust to waist and waist to hip difference? The 426 is about an inch too big in the underbust for me, and an inch too small in the hips.
Larra Otera
How would I go about figuring out which corset to get? Can I send my measurements now and have someone let me know if one of your products would fit me. I would like to reduce my middrift. My mother had to wear a medical back brace once and when she finally came out of it she had her waistline back and WOW it was great.
Cheri Dudek
Hi Larra,
Certainly…check out this page here http://www.orchardcorset.com/corset-sizing/ and get your measurements to me (or email from that link) and we will get you set up!

Yayy I can’t wait to put my order in. I love my black satin Cs-411. I will blog about it on my youtube channel as I did my last purchase. Thanks Orchard Corset.
Cheri Dudek
Awesome! We are excited as well.
Linda
YAAAY! I own a 426 but am just a liiittle too short in the waist to wear it sitting down comfortably. I always hoped you’d come out with something like this. Thank you, thank you! Hurry up and release all the colors! XD
Cheri Dudek
We hope to have black cotton next week!
gingercorsair
Aww! The cool snaps are why I wanted it, I hope you’ll include them in other colours in the future!
Cheri Dudek
We will keep that in mind for other “limited” editions colors and fabrics.
Leah
I also love the snaps it really makes the corset pop. 🙂
Cecile
Can’t wait to see the other colors it’ll come in! -c.
