Hi, I have the 201 in mesh (26)- I love it and it fits quite nicely, but I feel the shorter length sits on my hips in a way that makes them a little bulgy. The ribs fit perfectly, and the lace is straight and parallel the whole way down, it’s just a bit snug on the bottom. Does this seem like the proper fit?
I also ordered the 426 in a 26 and found it very hard to close at the front. The length feels a lot better but it’s definitely too small. My measurements are: UB34-W32-UH37.
Would a 28 be a better fit for the 426? Would the hip ties be worthwhile? Or should I hold onto the 26 and wait till I’ve lost weight/trained down enough to fit it?
If the best course of action is to exchange- is the 30 days from time of purchase? As of today, I’m at 31 days, but I opened an exchange file on the fifteenth (at 24 days). Is it too late to exchange? The corset has only been tried on and hasn’t been handled roughly at all.
Thanks so much for all your help!

Hi Angelica,
The 26 in the 426 should also fit you well (unless you are a really firm 32 inches). I have the same upper hip measurement and wear a 22 (natural waist is 27) and actually find the hip too big for me in the 426-so I would think the 28 would really be too big. It might be worth sending picture in to info@orchardcorset.com. Perhaps your hip bones sit in such a way that is making the 201 feel snug. I know Brittney here at OC has a high-sitting hip bone-mine sit lower.
As for exchanging-that should not be a problem if the corset is still in new condition. If not we will not be able to sell and a 25% restocking fee will be charged to your refund or exchange. We tend to be pretty lenient with the 30 day limit 🙂

I just started my waist training journey because I’m unhappy with my waist. I’m currently on day 2 of seasoning my Satin CS-201. I am going to have a journal of sorts to track my progress. Its going to take quite a bit of work to go from a 42″ natural waist down to a 34-32″ natural waist but I’m going to love it when I get there!

Hi, can your corsets be used for waist training?
Amy Lewis
Absolutely, Roxanne. All our corsets are authentic, steel boned corsets.

What is waist training? It is necessary to take this training?
Amy Lewis
Hi lenastyle-Waist training is a form of body modification. It is the practice of wearing a corset regularly for several hours at a time to produce an hourglass shaped figure by reshaping the waist. Not everyone who wears a corset wears them for waist training. They are worn for back support, for fashion and for costuming (as a few examples).
